CMA CGM is a French family-owned shipping and logistics group, headquartered in Marseille, and one of the world’s largest container shipping companies. Led by its CEO Rodolphe Saadé, the group moves goods across the globe with a fleet of more than 700 vessels.
Beyond shipping, CMA CGM has expanded into logistics, port terminals and media.
CMA CGM’s stand at VivaTech 2026, in Paris, in front of an audience of professionals and show visitors. The experience was also given as a gift to its CEO, Rodolphe Saadé.
To show the whole fleet, more than 700 ships, live, while keeping access to the detail of every single ship.
On the sphere, the CMA CGM fleet sails across a living Earth in real time. A single tap opens each ship’s data, while live overlays dress the ocean: waves, wind and currents. Visitors steer the Earth at their fingertips and follow the fleet through the real conditions it crosses.
A planet-wide operation made legible and explorable at a glance. On the stand, the installation made the presentation more engaging and memorable, and it drew a crowd, in a more playful way.
