At Sea Life Val d’Europe, a 60 cm ORA sphere is installed in a large room of the aquarium, in front of the ray and shark tank. It turns marine biodiversity and ocean conservation into an experience explored at your fingertips.
Sea Life Val d’Europe is an aquarium at the heart of the Val d’Europe shopping centre, on the doorstep of Paris. Part of the Merlin Entertainments group, it is dedicated to discovering marine life and raising awareness of ocean conservation, with immersive journeys designed for families and the wider public alike.
In a large room of the aquarium, as a permanent installation. The 60 cm sphere is placed facing the tank dedicated to rays and sharks.
Enrich the visitor journey, explain the climate challenges facing the oceans, raise awareness of Sea Life’s conservation actions and help identify marine species.
On the sphere: animated marine species, environmental stories, interactive world maps and conservation quizzes. Among the content, an animation on how to tell penguins from auks, an illustration of how ocean currents work and a game about plastic ducks lost at sea. All on a 60 cm touch surface, as a turnkey installation integrated into the aquarium’s space.
A fun, interactive device that becomes an attraction in its own right and offers an experience never seen before in an aquarium. The room housing the sphere has become the most visited space in the entire aquarium.
